# Affiliate & Partners overview

> Run a full affiliate and partner programme reconciled to real charges — recurring commissions, a white-label portal, multi-tier networks and automated payouts.

TrackRev Affiliate is the scale step: once you know which channel works, affiliates are how you
multiply it. It's a full affiliate and partner platform — the alternative to Rewardful,
FirstPromoter, Tolt and Tapfiliate — with one structural advantage: commissions are computed from
the **same orders** as your attribution, so a refund reverses a commission automatically and every
number reconciles.

## What you can run

## The two sides

TrackRev has a **merchant** side (you, running the programme, in the dashboard) and an
**affiliate** side (your partners, in their own portal).

## Switching to the affiliate side

In the dashboard sidebar, use the **context switcher** at the top to toggle between **Links &
analytics** and **Affiliate program**. The affiliate context has its own navigation: Overview,
Analytics, Network, Partners, Messages, Email Kits, Customers, Commissions, Payouts, Program and
Configuration.

## How a partner sale becomes a commission

    Each approved partner gets a unique referral link (channel `affiliate`) and, optionally, a
    coupon code.

    The sale is attributed to the partner by their link's click, or by their coupon code on the
    charge.

  <Step title="A commission is recorded">
    TrackRev writes a commission — the partner's cut — on the ledger, in `pending` status. In a
    multi-tier programme, their upline earns a decaying share too.

    Batch commissions monthly, settle via your funding method, and mark them paid. Refunds reverse
    commissions automatically.

  The affiliate programme is included on **every paid plan**. The Free tier can create one
  programme and share its own link; invites, payouts, branding and email kits are paid features.
  Plans meter **commission tracked** per month (Starter $10K, Growth $100K, Scale unlimited) — the
  partner's *earnings*, never the underlying sale revenue. See
