# For affiliates: using your portal

> A guide for partners — how to join a programme, find your referral links, track earnings and get paid.

This page is for **affiliates and partners** promoting a brand that uses TrackRev. It walks you
through signing up, finding your links, and getting paid. (If you run a programme, see
[Affiliate overview](/affiliate/overview) instead.)

## Join a programme

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the signup page">
    Follow the brand's affiliate signup link — usually something like `brand.trackrev.io` or
    `go.brand.com/join`. You'll see the commission rate, cookie window, and what you earn on.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply">
    Enter your **email** and **name**, tell them **where you'll promote** (your site or socials),
    and optionally suggest a **preferred link slug**. Click **Join the program**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create your account">
    You're taken to create your partner account with your email pre-filled. Your referral link is
    created immediately — if the programme reviews applications, commissions start counting once
    you're approved.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Finish setup">
    A short wizard asks for your **name** and **country** (used for payouts and tax), then shows
    your referral link. You're ready to earn.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Find your way around the portal

Your portal has these sections:

| Section             | What's there                                                                          |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Overview** | Your stats (clicks, sales, pending earnings, paid out), referral links and promo code |
| **Program details** | The reward, recurring terms, cookie window and minimum payout |
| **Referrals** | Every referred sale, your cut and its status |
| **Network** | Your downline and network earnings (multi-tier programmes) |

| **Hub page** | A link-in-bio page that collects all your affiliate offers in one URL |
| **Payments**        | Your payout history                                                                   |
| **Settings** | Payout method, profile, and tax form |

## Your referral links

On **Overview**, each programme you've joined shows your referral link (with any format variants
the brand offers), a **Create link** form for deep links to specific pages, and your **promo code**
if you have one. Share these anywhere.

<Tip>
  You can create additional referral links pointing to specific pages on the brand's site (a
  pricing page, a specific product), rename your slug, and export your links, codes and stats as a
  CSV — all from the portal.
</Tip>

## Settings and payouts

In **Settings**, choose how you want to be paid and enter the details:

* **PayPal** — your PayPal email.
* **Payoneer**, **Wire**, **ACH**, **Wise**, **WebMoney**, **Other** — the details each rail
  needs (the portal prompts you for the right fields).

Only the methods the brand supports appear. If your payment details are incomplete, you'll see a
banner — complete them, or you'll be excluded from the brand's next payout batch.

### Tax form

US tax rules require a **W-9** (US) or **W-8** (non-US) on file before you can be paid. Complete
the **Tax form** card in Settings: pick the form type, enter your legal name and tax country, and
upload the signed PDF. See [Tax forms](/affiliate/tax-forms).

## Signing in later

Return to the brand's affiliate site and use **Partner sign in**. Your account is tied to your
verified email — if you promote several brands, each brand's portal shows only that brand's data.
