Moving an affiliate programme to TrackRev mostly means re-creating your commission terms, bringing partners across, and repointing your signup link. Because TrackRev computes commissions from your real charges, you also gain refund reversal and true recurring/LTV tracking that link-only tools can’t match.
1

Connect your revenue first

TrackRev commissions come from actual charges, so connect your payment processor before anything else. This is also what powers automatic refund reversal.
2

Re-create your programme

In Create a programme, match your existing terms: commission type and rate, recurring policy, and cookie window (set it to match your old tool so in-flight referrals attribute consistently).
3

Bring your partners across

Invite each existing partner by email. Set their custom slug to match their old referral link’s slug where possible, so links they’ve already shared keep working after you repoint the domain.
4

Carry over coupon codes

If partners used coupon codes, add each partner’s coupon code on their enrollment so coupon sales keep crediting them. See Coupon-code tracking.
5

Brand and repoint the signup page

Set your subdomain and branding, then update your website’s “become an affiliate” link to the new TrackRev signup URL.
6

Communicate the move

Message partners with their new portal link and confirm their payout details and tax form are on file for the next payout run.
7

Run in parallel briefly, then cut over

Keep the old tool read-only for a short window to reconcile any pending payouts, then fully cut over once TrackRev is recording sales correctly.
Historical commissions from your old tool aren’t imported automatically. Settle any outstanding balances there before you cut over, and start TrackRev’s ledger fresh from your go-live date.
